Early Childhood Education (ECE) initiative is very important in child development and this helps make classroom sessions interactive, fun, and creative & to create learning interest among children, as well as adding additional session facilitation skills &styles on classroom teachers.

Keeping this in mind, Sahayatri Foundation brought this ‘ECE’ initiative for the children of ECD to grade 3, where Foundation’sVolunteer Teacher cum Trainer (VTT) will be facilitating classroom sessions (based on curriculum & respective grade textbook) along with the classroom teacher, where these teachers will have opportunity to add additional skills & styles (VTT from Foundation), in her/his classroom facilitation skills, for their students.

This Initiative is implemented with the following Objectives:

  1. Motivating Children for School & Education,
  2. Making Children interested and Preparing them to get into formal education in schools,
  3. Starting education in a modern scientific way among children,
  4. Helping classroom facilitators/teachers (of grade ECD to 3) in developing their classroom session facilitation capacity, skills& styles for children in their class,

Sahayatri Foundation has targeted to reach 288 members from the target group, of which, 280 are students (girls & boys) and 8 are class-teachers (female & male) from Two Schools (Shree Gokarna Secondary School & Shree Okhreni Secondary School) in Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu, Nepal, in this Academic Session (2022/2023) and this (Early Childhood Education) initiative has been going on since 6th November/2022 and will last in March/2023.
